Student Clubs

WTSD Clubs:

A new feature for the 2007-2008 school year is the student clubs held on Friday afternoon. These clubs are designed to encourage student involvement in activities they are not usually involved in and to teach how to perform special skills taught in each club. The four clubs that students chose from are Dance Club, Cooking Club, Outdoor Club and Drama Club. All of these clubs require the students to be actively involved at all times. Pictures of each club will be posted in the near future.

Dance Club:

Students participating in the dance club will learn skills for dances such as ballet, hip hop and many other dance moves. The chairpersons for the dance club are Gina Moon, Kris Wolfe and Deborah Jones.

Cooking Club:

Students participating in the cooking club will learn the basics of cooking and while preparing special dishes for everyone to enjoy. The chairpersons for the cooking club are Lori Rayner and Kylah Moseley.

Drama Club:

Students participating in the drama club will learn how to act and put together a short play. The chairpersons for the drama club are Rhonda Pearson, Clara Williamson, Sandy Lewis and Peggy Arnold.

Outdoor Club:

Students participating in the outdoor club will learn the basic to planting and maintaining flowers and trees. The hands on experience will come while they beautify our campus with items that have been donated by local merchants. The chairpersons for the outdoor club are Shana Ward, Joy Weiss and Sara Suarez.
