I am Joy Weiss (pronounced like you are saying the word ice with a w in front of it) and I have been at West Tennessee School for the Deaf since 2003.

  I began teaching in 1997.  I have worked in three states.  I have worked with children as young as 16 months and as old as 21 years with varying abilities and special needs.  I have worked in an early intervention program and in public schools teaching children in preschool through high school.  I have spent a short time at other schools for the Deaf. 

  It is an honor to work at W. T. S. D. with a knowledgeable staff and challenging students.
